What
is it?
Wireless CCTV cameras can transmit pictures and sound
to a Tv/Video up to 100 metres away without the need to
run any cables between them.
How does it work?
They use the very latest Government approved 2.4GHz microwave
frequency to transmit the pictures and sound from the
camera to the receiver (which then plugs in to the Tv/Video),
this frequency allows for a maximum possible distance
between receiver and camera of 100 metres (300 feet) line
of sight, however through walls & ceilings the range can
be reduced to 50 metres in extreme circumstances. |

What
is it?
Wired CCTV cameras are designed for permanent installation
in all types of premises. They offer zero interference
and can be sited up to 1500 metres away from the recording/viewing
equipment.
How does it work?
The required number of cameras are located in the areas
of the building that require CCTV and then they are cabled
back to a control point (the location where the recording
or monitoring equipment is located). In larger systems
there is normally more then 1 control point and the systems
can also be connected to the Internet allowing live viewing
and playback of the cameras from almost anywhere in the
world. |
